Life’s not fair

I’ve heard this ever since I was a child.  When you don’t get that toy on your wish list.  Or when you try your very hardest but it just isn’t good enough.  Or when you put complete faith in something and it doesn’t return the favor.  You follow all the rules only to be taken down by a bi-law.  The Bulls just made a shot at the buzzer to win the game, and it was over ruled by the referees that the ball wasn’t out of his hand when the buzzer sounded.  Yes it was! The shadow of his index finger was still on the ball, too bad, so sad, we’re stripping you of your win.  Ahhhh!!!  When will hard work and honest effort be sufficient and left alone to stand as acceptable, or maybe even favored?  I will live optimistic and nieve if it will allow me to follow the rules and live life paying prices of those who rob from honest people.
